While the website for the podcast looks rather shabby, the content that you find on offer is anything but.

When ‘This Old Marketing’ was first launched, it was wildly different to what it is today. In the past, the podcast would go through the history of marketing, with real-world examples. They would go through the mistakes companies made, and the successes that they experienced. The goal was to help budding marketers learn from history when it comes to creating their own marketing strategies.

While the podcast still, to an extent, does focus on the history of marketing, it also includes some more recent examples, as well as hints and tips for people to take their marketing to the next level.

It is worth noting that ‘This Old Marketing’ is not explicitly focused on affiliate marketing. It touches on a lot more areas. Although we have barely encountered an affiliate marketer who hasn’t learned something from this podcast, so you should certainly give it a spin. If anything, you will at least find it interesting.

Smart Passive Income

If you are into your affiliate marketing, then you will have heard of Pat Flynn. This is a guide who is a ‘top’ internet marketing coach. He has a fantastic blog, which is often the first introduction people get to the world of affiliate marketing. He also sells several different products. It, therefore, comes as no surprise that he also boasts his own podcast.

For the most part, Smart Passive Income doesn’t cover the ground that is that much different from the blog. However, in our experience, the podcast is a lot easier to digest. The podcast also allows Pat to focus on running interviews a lot more. The way he speaks is absolutely infectious, and it will instantly grip even the most experienced affiliate marketers.

Of course, all of the techniques that Pat Flynn discusses in Smart Passive Income will be ‘tried and tested’ methods. Anybody who reads his blog will know that all of the information he shares comes from his own experiences in the world of affiliate marketing. Whether he is pumping out a podcast on social media marketing, branding, or building up your reputation, you can be sure that everything that you hear is going to be absolutely golden. It is easily one of the top 4 affiliate marketing podcasts.

The Art of Paid Traffic

This is a marketing podcast. While it isn’t really aimed at affiliate marketers, we are positive that affiliate marketers could get some use out of it.

This podcast focuses on paid traffic. While the guy behind this podcast is an expert in Facebook ads, just about everything he talks about in ‘The Art of Paid Traffic” can be applied to any paid traffic source.

He goes into depth on how to create your ads. This means a lot of information about writing ad copy, choosing the right target market, squeeze pages, etc. Basically, information is going to be incredibly useful to the budding affiliate marketer.

In our opinion, some of the most useful information shared in The Art of Paid Traffic is related to reading your ad stats. You will be taught how to read the analytics for your adverts. This will allow you to determine whether you are generating a decent return on your investment, or whether you should be doing a bit of tinkering with your adverts to make something better.

Yes. The Art of Paid Traffic only focuses on a single way of making traffic. However, we promise you that if you are planning to take affiliate marketing seriously, you will eventually need to start doing paid adverts, and there is no podcast out there, which will share as much information about that with you as The Art of Paid Traffic does. This is an absolute ‘must download’.

Affiliate Buzz

Affiliate Buzz was one of the original affiliate marketing podcasts, and it is still one of the best. The podcast has been put out religiously since 2003 (so, before podcasts were really a thing). They manage to cover a lot in their shows too.

You get discussions on current news in the world of affiliate marketing; then you get a couple of hints and tips which will allow you to take your marketing adventures to the next level. Thrown on top of this will be a plethora of reviews with some fantastic people in the world of marketing. If you only listen to one podcast on this list, you should make it Affiliate Buzz.

Obviously, this is just a small smattering of the affiliate marketing podcasts that are available. There are hundreds of things. Although, to be honest, most of them are quite shoddy.
