Even in difficult times like these, we keep our hearts open to the good. No global pandemic should change who we are. And that’s what we kept in mind when back in March we were holding the first-ever charitable event.
What’s changed?
Every marketing event excites us, but “Traffic Station” meetup was a different case. For the first time in our history, we were co-organizing a charity event!
Watching frightening news, coming from China and Europe, we couldn’t help but think about how our lives were about to change (back then, the epidemy hasn’t reached Russia yet). But what about less fortunate ones whose life is already a struggle? How will they survive these times?
Our Chief Revenue Officer, Alexander Vasekin, says: “It’s in Propeller’s culture to help others. All our previous charity activities were focused on a local community: sending help to Greece after horrifying forest fires or helping refugees with food and first-need supplies. And every time it was an initiative coming from our colleagues, I’m very proud of that. So we thought that we are ready to do more, and that’s how the idea of “Traffic station” emerged. It’s a fusion of education and charity – I really hope our industry will pick up this philosophy.”
PropellerAds team was beyond enthusiastic about helping children in need. And we did it!
All the proceeds, every coin collected from the “Traffic Station” tickets sales went straight to the “Gestia” charity fund. To help just one kid.
The little fighter
Olya Shkrinda is a little, but a very brave girl with a rare condition – Canavan disease. It’s a disorder that causes damage to nerve cells in the brain.
A lot of money is needed for the experimental treatment – genetic therapy, so we hope the help will come in time.
We wish Olya all the best and hope to see her healthy and happy soon!
Let’s help together
We think it’s time to give back to the community, that’s why we call for all affiliate industry to join our efforts in making the world a little bit happier place! 🙂
What’s next? Obviously, we are not planning to stop. As soon as the situation stabilizes, we will organize the next “Traffic Station” event for affiliates, this time, in Moscow.
A bit about Traffic Station
Traffic Station is a series of affiliate marketing meetups, featuring the leading industry speakers, hot topics, and workshops with super-affiliates. All in all, it’s a hands-on educational & networking event. We were extremely thrilled to see such positive feedback about our first “Traffic Station,” and we hope to meet all of you at our next event!
Don’t forget that you can donate too! It’s important to support local charities to help children get through this difficult period.
